Please give us a short summary of your website?
With our website, we will be trying to reach folks who wish to purchase beachfront homes along the Central Coast of Ecuador. Mostly we will concentrate in the area running about 15 miles north and south of Montanita.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We have been Real Estate Professionals in California and Oregon since 1972. Since we have settled in Manglaralto, and described it in our blog, we have fielded countless questions about how to do it, and how to find what we did.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This website was launched one day ago, Jan 8, 2009.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We try to make our website as descriptive of the service that we offer as possible.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
There don't seem to be many professional real estate agents providing service on the Coast. Lots of companies try to encompass this area from their distant offices. We hope to bring a local touch, and provide immediate service.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to provide a service to potential Expats, who wish to live the dream of having a retirement home on the beach at a much more affordable price than that of other countries. And...we wouldn't mind the additional income, either.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
In Real Estate, time and money invested are not as important as reliable service and integrity...we have the experience and the expertise. Plus we have been licensed in Oregon and California as Supervising or Designated Brokers since 1980.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would do just as we are doing now.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
We can add personnel if we must, but we are realistic, and believe that this venture will take time to grow, and we will gradually adjust to increases in resources needed.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None yet, and we have our fingers crossed that we will be able to anticipate problems as they arise, and deal promptly with them.
